BlaezSketch is an application developed and maintained by Idriss Simao (BlaezTek). Your sketches belong to you. This policy describes how BlaezSketch handles information — and, more importantly, what it does not collect.
01 No Account, No Cloud Sync
BlaezSketch does not require an account or login. It does not sync your notebooks to a BlaezTek cloud or store your sketches on our servers. Your creative content stays on your iPad unless you export or share it.
There is no BlaezTek account system or content backend for this product. Advertising identifiers are not used to build a marketing profile of you.
02 Local Storage
On-device notebooks
Notebooks, pages, strokes, layers, reference images you import, and related settings are stored locally on your iPad. I do not have access to your creative content, and I do not store your sketches on any external servers.
Notebook passwords
If you set a password on a notebook, the password is salted and hashed on-device (SHA-256). The plain-text password is never stored. Optional recovery via Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode uses Apple’s on-device authentication frameworks. If you choose password-only recovery and lose the password, the notebook cannot be recovered — by design. BlaezTek cannot reset or retrieve notebook passwords.
03 Crash Reports & Analytics
BlaezSketch may use crash reporting and analytics services to keep the app stable and understand how features are used. This diagnostic data is anonymous and non-identifying — it is not used to identify you as a person, and it does not include your sketches, notebook contents, passwords, or other creative work.
Typical examples of what may be collected: technical crash stacks, device model, OS version, and aggregate app-usage events needed to fix bugs and improve the product. These services may involve network requests to the provider. They are not a substitute for cloud sync of your artwork.
04 Exports and Sharing
Your drawings leave BlaezSketch when you initiate an export or system share action (for example, layered PSD or flattened PNG). Once shared, that content is governed by the destination app or service you choose — not by BlaezSketch. Diagnostic crash and analytics data described above does not include that artwork.
05 Payments and Billing
BlaezSketch is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All financial transactions are processed by Apple. I do not collect, see, or store your credit card information, bank details, or billing address. Apple may process purchase-related data under Apple’s own privacy policy.
06 Device Permissions
BlaezSketch may request access to features you choose to use — for example, the photo library when you import a reference image, or biometric authentication when you enable Face ID / Touch ID recovery for a notebook. These permissions are used only for the feature you invoke and remain under your control in iPadOS Settings.
07 Children
BlaezSketch does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app does not collect user data, there is no child-directed data collection. Parents and guardians remain responsible for device access and App Store purchases.
08 Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at https://blaeztek.com/sketch/privacy with a revised effective date. Material changes that affect how the app handles data will be reflected in the app or App Store listing as appropriate.
